CDPAP is a New York State Medicaid program that allows eligible patients to recruit, hire, and direct family members and friends as their caregivers.
The main benefits of becoming a CDPAP caregiver are:
- Start immediately.
- No (HHA) home health aide license is required.
- Flexible hours, your loved ones set their schedule.
Patient requirements to be eligible for the CDPAP Program:
- 21 or older with a disability or long-term health condition that requires help with daily activities.
- A resident of New York State and eligible for Medicaid.
Our agency is a licensed CDPAP provider in New York State. In addition to CDPAP services, we offer free Medicaid support services for patients needing help applying for Medicaid.
We pay our CDPAP caregivers weekly. The hourly rate depends on the patient’s location. The number of hours is determined through a couple of assessments conducted by Medicaid and according to the patient’s medical conditions.
