CDPAP, or the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program, offers a cost-effective home care solution for eligible Medicaid patients who require care in their homes. With CDPAP, patients have the freedom to choose their own caregivers, direct and manage their care, and create their caregivers’ schedules. Caregivers chosen by the patient are paid weekly.
Our CDPAP caregivers are paid an hourly rate ranging from $17.55 to $19, depending on the patient’s location and the patient’s long-term care plan, in addition to benefits within the five boroughs of New York City. The number of hours is determined based on several Medicaid assessments and the patient’s health condition.
