CDPAP, or the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program, offers a cost-effective home care solution for eligible Medicaid patients who require care in their homes.
With CDPAP in New York State, individuals who require assistance with daily living activities due to a long-term health condition or disability can choose their own caregivers, like family or friends, to direct and manage their caregiver’s schedules. Caregivers selected by the patient are paid weekly.
Our CDPAP caregivers are paid an hourly rate ranging from $17.55 to $18.55, depending on the patient’s location in New York State and their Medicaid long-term care plan.
The number of hours the patient receives is determined based on several Medicaid assessments of the patient’s health condition.
